What we do

LANW works to advance social justice, gender equality, rights protection and inclusive development, with a particular focus on women and girls and on strengthening communities and institutions to become more inclusive, peaceful and resilient. We work at community, institutional and policy levels, connecting grassroots experience with advocacy, evidence and stakeholder engagement to support practical and lasting change.

Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment

Advancing the rights, leadership, and socio-economic inclusion of women and girls as central drivers of equitable and sustainable development.

Human Rights and Access to Justice

Promoting legal awareness, protecting fundamental rights, and strengthening access to justice for marginalized and vulnerable populations.

Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response

Preventing and responding to gender-based violence through legal and psychosocial support, community-based reporting and response mechanisms, referral pathways, awareness raising and engagement with relevant service providers and institutions.

Humanitarian Action, Disaster Risk Reduction and Community Resilience

Delivering timely, inclusive humanitarian assistance while strengthening preparedness, early action, disaster risk reduction and community resilience to shocks and crises.
